Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a freelance Content Creator to develop, produce, capture, and edit original content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube. You will take ideas from concept to publication with speed and platform-native storytelling, driving audience growth and engagement.

This role is onsite in Santa Monica, ~40 hours per week, through December 2026 with potential extension.

Qualifications

Experience creating platform-native short-form content.
Ability to shoot and edit on mobile devices.
Proficient with Premiere Pro and CapCut.
Strong understanding of social media trends.
Willingness to travel to tournaments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end content creation across five platforms from concept to publish.
Produce shoots: define shot lists, coordinate talent, locations, props and timing; manage logistics.
Capture content via phone-first and DSLR/mirrorless setups with audio.
Edit content end-to-end using CapCut Pro or Premiere Pro.
Maintain on-brand voice, color and audio; flag quality concerns before publish.
Travel to select tournaments for on-ground content and campaigns.
Contribute content to the Master Calendar and 90-day pipeline.
Stay ahead of platform trends and bring fresh ideas to the team.
