Job summary

Tobin Landscape INC is seeking a Snow Shoveler to clear snow and ice from walkways, driveways, parking lots, stairs and building entrances to keep areas safe for employees, customers and visitors. This is outdoor work in cold conditions and may require early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays during snowfall.

Responsibilities include shoveling with snow blowers, applying salt or de-icer, and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• Previous snow removal experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in cold, snowy, and icy conditions for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible or on-call hours, including early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, driveways, parking lots, and building entrances.
• Apply salt, sand, or de-icing chemicals to surfaces as directed.
• Ensure cleared areas meet safety standards.
• Monitor weather conditions and respond to snow events promptly.
• Operate snow removal equipment safely and effectively.
• Report hazardous conditions, damage, or maintenance needs.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
