City of Odessa seeks a Utilities Maintenance Technician to support the Bob Derrington Water Reclamation Plant and Water Treatment Plant. You will maintain mechanical, piping, and structural systems, perform safety procedures, and assist with off-site facilities under supervision.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, repairing pumps, handling dangerous chemicals, and completing work orders with attention to safety and documentation.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• General plant maintenance experience with mechanical components such as pumps, drive trains, bearing assemblies, chemical feed systems and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair plant and off-site facility process equipment.
• Disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble mechanical components as needed.
• Repair and install piping and related systems; fabricate and repair structural components.
