Job summary

National Water Services, LLC. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Service Technician to provide preventative and emergency maintenance on our water dispensing cabinets. The role requires troubleshooting, installations, and timely reporting.

You will operate as a 1099 independent contractor with compensation of $45–$55 per hour, based on experience. Occasional after-hours calls may be required, and transportation/tools must be provided by you.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent time management; able to work independently.
• Own transportation and tools for on-site visits.
• Communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive relationships with customers and store management through service delivery.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills to ensure a satisfactory experience.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, UV lamp installations, battery changes, and equipment upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and report readings from pressure gauges and flow meters; detect leaks.
• Address repairs including leaks, fittings, valves, tubing, wiring and components.
• Be available for occasional emergency service calls, with on-site response within 24-48 hours for urgent cases.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork for payment processing.
