Qualifications

• Ability to direct work, administer operations of a long-term health facility, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Directs operation of a state veterans center providing long-term health care and medical services.
• Plans and directs patient care programs, staff, and budget programs; ensures compliance with budgetary limits.
• Coordinates program requirements with state and federal agencies; negotiates contracts for goods and services as appropriate; reviews purchases.
• Responds to inquiries and emergencies, and participates in planning sessions with state and federal agencies.
