Job summary

Aqua Engineers, Inc. in Hawaii is seeking a hands-on operator to support the wastewater collection system, including cleaning, maintaining, and repairing sewer lines, pump stations, wet wells, interceptors, manholes and related equipment.

On-the-job training will be provided. You will perform operation and maintenance tasks, operate specialty equipment, and respond to emergencies as needed, with on-call responsibilities and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication skills and math knowledge.
• Knowledge of hazards and safety principles.
• Specific training in operation of equipment and mechanical systems used on the job.
• Basic understanding of disposal regulations and proper disposal sites.
