Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks an on-call Uniform Operations Specialist to support a busy uniform department. You will assist with fittings, distribution, inventory tracking, and minor alterations, ensuring staff have the garments they need to look and feel their best.

The role involves using barcode/RFID tagging, managing inventory, and operating laundry and garment-related equipment while complying with safety and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in uniforms, laundry, alterations, or a similar operational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist employees with uniform fittings, issuance, light alterations, and guidance on uniform systems.
• Maintain accurate employee and inventory records using uniform management software and tagging methods.
• Operate uniform-related equipment such as conveyors, heat-seal/pressing machines, washers, and irons.
• Track and maintain uniform inventory including assigned garments and items sent to cleaners.
• Receive new inventory and dispose of unusable garments properly.
• Adhere to Health Department, OSHA, sanitation, and safety regulations, including PPE.
• Deliver service aligned with company standards and brand expectations.
