Job summary

Washington State Ferries (WSF) is seeking qualified applicants for Terminal Supervisor across remote terminals. Supervisors manage day-to-day terminal operations, plan improvements, supervise staff, and ensure customer service aligned with bargaining agreements.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, FEMA certifications, and experience in terminal operations. The role emphasizes leadership, data analysis, and training to build team success, with in-person information sessions required.

Qualifications

• Three years of continuous employment within WSF Terminal Department.
• Must complete FEMA certifications: IS-100.C, IS-200.C, IS-700.B, IS-800.D.
• Attend one of the four mandatory in-person informational sessions.
• Combined 1,040 hours of seller experience.

Responsibilities

• Be dispatched to remote terminals with little advanced notice.
• Be required to effectively administer all terminals.
• Occasionally perform operational evaluations covering schedules to customer feedback trends.
• Uphold WSF’s priorities and values in leadership actions.
