Tiny Steps Learning Center is seeking dedicated On-Call Teacher Assistants to join our team. We provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Position Overview:
The On-Call Teacher Assistant will provide support to Lead Teachers and classroom staff on an as-needed basis. This role involves assisting with daily activities, physical caregiving, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with physical caregiving and developmental assessments.
• Supporting the curricular plan and classroom activities.
• Building supportive relationships with staff, parents, and students.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in early childhood education preferred.
• Associate Degree in Education or current CDA certification (preferred).
• Strong understanding of child development and educational methods.
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds multiple times per day.
• Willingness to submit to background checks.
• CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Flexible availability to work on an on-call basis.
