Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Surgical Technologist for dedicated call coverage in our Springfield, IL facility. You will assist the surgical team, prepare equipment, maintain sterile conditions, and support patient transfer and positioning during operative procedures.

Requirements include 1 year of surgical tech experience, BLS, and CST certification preferred. Associates degree in surgical technology or military training is preferred. Sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a surgical technologist.
• CST certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Education: associate degree or military training in surgical technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor equipment for procedures.
• Pass instruments and maintain the sterile field.
• Assist with patient transfer/positioning and intraoperative care.
• Perform a variety of surgical skills and procedures.
