Job summary

St. Mary School in Riverside, part of the Archdiocese of Chicago, seeks dependable substitute teachers to provide classroom instruction and supervision when regular teachers are absent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; teaching licensure required or eligible.
• Experience teaching through remote learning platforms.
• 1–3 years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students and learning in the absence of the regularly scheduled teacher.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and follow lesson plans.
• Keep attendance records and communicate with staff as needed.
• Ensure student safety and follow school policies.
