Job summary

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Centennial Hills Campus is seeking an On-Call (Day-to-Day) Substitute Teacher to cover classes in the absence of regular teachers. You will implement provided lesson plans and maintain classroom routines to support student learning.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred) and a Nevada substitute license or ability to obtain one. You’ll work in-person at CASLV campuses in Las Vegas/Henderson with strong classroom

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid Nevada substitute teaching license or ability to obtain one.
• Prior experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible and work in different grade levels and classrooms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using lesson plans left by the classroom teacher.
• Manage student behavior following school policies.
• Maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Communicate with administrators and teachers about student performance and issues.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Supervise students during classroom and school activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
