Job summary

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas is seeking an On-Call (Day-to-Day) Substitute Teacher to deliver instruction in the CASLV campus in Las Vegas, NV and nearby locations. The role reports to the Campus Principal and requires flexibility across grade levels.

Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, managing classrooms, and maintaining a positive learning environment while coordinating with administrators on student progress and issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid Nevada substitute teaching license or ability to obtain one.
• Prior experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible and work in different grade levels and classrooms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction based on lesson plans left by the classroom teacher.
• Manage student behavior in accordance with school policies.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
• Communicate with administrators and teachers regarding student performance and issues.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet varied student needs and interests.
• Supervise students in the classroom and during school activities as assigned.
• Follow school rules, procedures, and policies.
