Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for PRN Post Acute Inpatient Rehab. Under the supervision of the Chief SLP, you will diagnose and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, dysphasia and related disorders, while maintaining records and counseling families.

The role includes collaboration with hospital staff, research involvement, quality assurance, and material development to advance clinical care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech pathology is required.
• Current state licensure as Speech Pathologist is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and treatment services for patients with speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, dysphasia and related disorders.
• Maintain comprehensive records of diagnostic and treatment services and counsel patients and families.
• Consult with hospital personnel regarding communication impairments and assist in research program development and quality assurance.
