Job summary

Kitsap Mental Health Services invites an On-Call Special Education Teacher to support the Madrona Day Treatment program. You will design and implement IEPs, run academic groups, and help develop behavioral plans within a therapeutic classroom setting.

You will collaborate with the treatment team to address social and emotional needs and coordinate transitions for students while maintaining compliance with Washington standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education is required.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• License: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration (or obtain after hire).
• Washington State certification in special education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs with goals and outcomes.
• Lead academic groups and align lessons to Washington standards.
• Collaborate on individual treatment/behavior plans.
• Support social, emotional, and developmental needs in a therapeutic setting.
