Kitsap Mental Health Services invites an On-Call Special Education Teacher to support the Madrona Day Treatment program. You will design and implement IEPs, run academic groups, and help develop behavioral plans within a therapeutic classroom setting.
You will collaborate with the treatment team to address social and emotional needs and coordinate transitions for students while maintaining compliance with Washington standards.

Hiring Range: $39.79 – 49.70 Per Hour

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Education
EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum of 2 years of job-related experience)
LICENSURE: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration (can be obtained after hire). Certification in special education in Washington State.
Per RCW 28A.400.303, contractors of contractors with school districts that “have regularly scheduled unsupervised access to children” must go through FBI fingerprinting.
Food Handler’s Permit is required for Madrona, preferred for Sequoia Program and Restorative School.
EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Education
EXPERIENCE: Intermediate (minimum of 3 years of job-related experience)
Experience working with the Special Education population is strongly preferred. Experience with IEPs, Functional Behavior Analysis, and Behavior Intervention Plans is strongly preferred.
Educational Or Classroom Management Experience Preferred.
