Job summary

DCSAM is seeking On-Call Snow Supervisors to lead snow and ice removal operations during winter weather. This seasonal role is active only when snow/ice events occur, and you will oversee snowplow crews, monitor conditions, assign routes, and operate equipment when needed.

Travel may be required for out-of-town work, with paid travel, hotel, and per diem provided. The role requires 18+ years old, a valid CDL preferred, a DOT drug screen, 2+ years in snow removal with leadership, and an 8-hour

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Pass a DOT drug screen and MVR review.
• Willing to travel to snow locations and stay for the event (hotel, travel time, per diem paid).
• 2+ years of snow removal experience; leadership experience a plus.
• Attend an 8-hour in-person snow training before the season starts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct snowplow crews during snow and ice events.
• Monitor weather conditions and plan response efforts.
• Assign routes and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Operate snowplow trucks or other equipment when needed.
• Oversee salt/brine applications and equipment inspections.
• Maintain basic reports and ensure safety compliance.
