Job summary

Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights, NJ is seeking Substitute Sign Language Interpreters for the 2026-2027 school year to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students. • New Jersey Instructional Certification in the appropriate subject matter and level.
• Educational Sign Language Interpreter (EIPA score 3.0 or higher).
• Successful Criminal History Clearance.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication among students who are deaf or hard of hearing, their hearing peers, teachers and staff within the school setting.
• Provide interpreting services appropriate to the individual communication needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program.
