Job summary

National Water Services is seeking an on-call Service Technician in Woodstock, IL to diagnose and repair water vending equipment at retail locations. You’ll be dispatched as needed, with the flexibility of a 1099 independent contractor role and a pay rate of $55 per hour, all-inclusive.

Ideal candidates have hands-on plumbing, electrical, and basic mechanical repair skills, plus a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing experience (water lines, valves, fittings)
• Hands-on electrical systems experience (wiring, components, troubleshooting)
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Smartphone with camera
• Available for on-call dispatch in local area

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail locations in your area
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office
