Job summary

NWS — FreshPure Water Systems is seeking a Service Technician for on-call duties in Evergreen Park, IL. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment and submit service reports with photos. A reliable vehicle and valid license are required, with on-call dispatch handling scheduling.

This is a flexible 1099 contractor role with no fixed hours, designed as on-demand work that complements trade, maintenance, or repair activities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing experience with water lines, valves, fittings, connections.
• Hands-on electrical experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment independently.

• Smartphone with camera and willingness to stay on-call.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail store locations in your area.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment.
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit.
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office.
• Some jobs may be quick on-site fixes; others may require a follow-up visit.
