Job summary

FreshPure is seeking Service Technicians in Woodstock, IL to respond to on-call dispatches and diagnose or repair water vending equipment.

This role is 1099 independent contract work with no fixed schedule; pay is $55/hr all-inclusive, with mileage and travel factored into the rate. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing experience: water lines, valves, fittings, connections.
• Hands-on electrical experience: wiring, components, troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Smartphone with camera for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a roster of Service Technicians in Woodstock, IL, to dispatch when a machine needs diagnosis or repair. No licensing required — just solid real-world experience and the ability to figure out what’s wrong and fix it.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail store locations in your area
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office

What You Need

• Hands-on experience with basic plumbing — water lines, valves, fittings, connections
• Hands-on experience with basic electrical systems — wiring, components, troubleshooting

The Pay & Setup
