Job summary

National Water Services (NWS — FreshPure Water Systems) is building a roster of Service Technicians in Woodstock, IL to dispatch on‑call when a machine needs diagnosis or repair. No licensing required—just hands‑on experience and problem‑solving, with flexible on‑demand work.

As an independent contractor, you’ll be paid $55/hr all‑inclusive (mileage and travel factored into the rate), with on‑call / as‑needed shifts and no minimum hours.

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing knowledge: water lines, valves, fittings, connections.
• Hands-on electrical knowledge: basic wiring, components, troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on‑call dispatches at retail locations in your area.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment.
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit.
