Job summary

National Water Services is seeking a Service Technician for Maintenance & Repair on an on-call basis in the Bridgewater, NJ area. You will perform preventative and emergency maintenance on water dispensing cabinets and coordinate with store personnel to ensure minimal downtime.

The role requires hands-on plumbing, electrical and mechanical knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor. Reliable transportation and basic tools are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Must own transportation and basic on-site tools.
• Fluent-English communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on water dispensing cabinets.
• Establish positive relationships with customers and store personnel.
• Troubleshoot and repair leaks, fittings, valves and electrical components.
• Read gauges and meters, document findings, and report results.
• Respond to on-call requests, ensure timely service within 24–48 hours when urgent.
