Responsibilities

• Plans and develops repair programs for locking devices, doors, and other security equipment.
• Provides general maintenance for a maximum security institution.
• Organizes control accountability and security for assigned items.
• Performs routine and emergency maintenance on security equipment as prescribed.
• Serves as on-call maintenance supervisor per roster.
• Conducts inventories of keys and related equipment daily/weekly/monthly.
• Prepares and submits reports on inspections and inventories.
• Procures materials and supplies to maintain devices, doors, and keys.
• Maintains an organized preventive maintenance program.
