Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Supply School Nurse to provide essential health care services to students in the school clinic under the principal’s supervision. The role supports daily health operations and ensures student safety.

The position requires GA RN or LPN licensure, completion of the CCSD clinic substitute training, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with 2 years preferred. This role offers monthly pay and on‑demand workdays within the District’s Student Support division.

Qualifications

• Graduate nursing education program completed.
• Current RN or LPN licensure in Georgia.
• 1 year nursing experience required; 2 years preferred; substitute clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to student health needs in the school clinic under supervision.
• Administer and document medications according to policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinic environment and confidentiality.
• Communicate with school staff, families, and physicians.
• Update and maintain accurate health records.
• Provide health education and preventive care.
• Report infectious illnesses and follow district procedures.
• Collaborate with nurse administrator and principal.
