Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a Substitute School Food Service Worker to support our school nutrition team. Earn $16.75/hour with flexible, on-call hours, Monday–Friday, no nights or weekends, summers off.

No experience needed—we provide training. You’ll prep, portion and serve meals, keep areas clean, and follow food-safety guidelines while helping create a welcoming mealtime for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is helpful but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficient for instructions and safety rules.
• Reliable and able to follow schedules and directions.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff
• Set up and clean serving areas and kitchen equipment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Contribute to a positive and welcoming mealtime atmosphere
• Support the team and jump in wherever needed
