Job summary

Whitsons is seeking a Substitute Food Service Worker to support the school nutrition team in Colebrook, NH. This flexible, on-call role runs Monday–Friday with no nights or weekends, offering a fulfilling way to help provide nutritious meals to students while fitting around your life.

No experience is required as training is provided; you’ll prepare, portion, and serve meals, maintain safety standards, and contribute to a welcoming mealtime environment in our school kitchens.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED requirement.
• Certifications: Food Handling preferred but not required.
• Speak and read English.
• Some experience helpful.
• Be able to lift 40 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving areas and kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Contribute to a positive and welcoming mealtime atmosphere.
• Support the team and jump in wherever needed.
