Job summary

Northwood Local Schools is seeking Substitute Custodians for the 2026-2027 school year through Renhill Group. This on-call position requires the ability to perform cleaning duties and basic maintenance across district facilities.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, can provide two professional references, and are able to obtain BCI & FBI background checks. The role offers part-time hours and a starting wage of $15 per hour with benefits via the district.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Two professional references
• BCI & FBI background checks dated within past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education

Responsibilities

• Physically able to bend, balance, stoop, lift up to 70 pounds
• Familiar with building systems such as alarms and HVAC
• Dry mop/wash floors, clean furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, lockers, partitions, light fixtures, and display cases
• Ability to read MSDS information
• Perform minor repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance activities
