Job summary

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School in Casa Grande, AZ seeks a Cafeteria Worker (On Call) to supervise and manage daily food service operations under the principal.

Qualifications

• Must support the Catholic mission and be in full communion with the Church.
• Proficiency with large and small kitchen equipment including electric slicer, mixer, pressure steamer and dishwashers.
• Ability to use a computer for cafeteria tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong human relations.
• Self-starter, organized; multitask with urgency.
• Pass background, criminal and credit checks; travel locally; weekend/overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus and order food and supplies based on student numbers and nutrition.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal nutrition requirements.
• Maintain sanitary food production and safety per guidelines.
• Place orders and prepare meals for breakfast and lunch.
• Maintain serving schedules and audit records.
• Train and supervise cafeteria staff.
• Maintain logs and prepare audits.
• Ensure safe working environment.
• Keep equipment logs and justify replacements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
