Job summary

Fresno EOC is seeking an on-call School Bus Driver to operate a school bus, transport students and authorized staff to designated locations, and ensure safety according to regulations. The role supports Head Start and school district routes as needed, with additional paratransit or special trips based on demand.

The driver will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain cleanliness, and follow routes using GPS and dispatch software.

Qualifications

• Must have valid commercial A or B license with Air Brakes, Passenger.
• Six months of driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports students and authorized staff between pick-up and drop-off locations.
• Operates school bus safety equipment and conducts pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Maintains a clean vehicle and follows all safety and regulatory requirements.
