Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Current CDL, Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsement.
• Experience as a bus driver, preferably in a school district.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus for extracurricular activities, athletic events, field trips, and other trips.
• Inspects the bus prior to transporting passengers and reports issues.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety inside the bus and ensures communication equipment works.
• Performs safety checks and follows district, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintains required records and attends training as needed.
