Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Marathon, FL seeks a driver to provide safe transport for clients under Baker Act and/or Marchman Act. You will be on call for scheduled trips, drive to designated GCC sites, and ensure passenger safety and confidentiality throughout every ride.

Requirements include CPR/First Aid within 6 months, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of 4 years driving experience with a clean record. Training includes de-escalation and HIPAA adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with empathy.
• Ability to comply with confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive Baker Act vehicles when dispatched and pick up individuals within 1 hour.
• Attend to on-demand trips and maintain safe driving practices.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and log maintenance.
• Keep passenger belongings secured and supervise during transit.
• Report incidents and comply with all confidentiality and reporting procedures.
