Job summary

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Minnesota is seeking a Transportation Driver to move clients, staff and visitors safely between locations using secure transport vehicles.

You will provide scheduled and emergency transport, maintain documentation, perform vehicle upkeep, and support office coverage when needed.

CPR/BLS certification and a valid driver’s license are required, with a strong commitment to professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR or BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required or completed within 30 days.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and adherence to driver qualification criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, secure transportation for clients, staff and visitors efficiently.
• Arrange scheduled, non-scheduled and emergency transport to and from various locations.
• Maintain department documentation following procedures.
• Maintain transportation vehicles, wash bay and garage.
• Provide office coverage in absence of staff.
• Assess situations to ensure safe transport and decide on need for EMS.
• Report unusual behaviors or concerns to relevant departments.
• Drive professionally and represent Hazelden at all times.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

CPR or BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
