Job summary

Golden Glades Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Miami, FL is seeking a reliable Transportation Driver (On Call) to safely move residents to appointments, social events, and activities across campus and local destinations.

This on-call position requires flexibility, a valid CDL and Florida driver's license, and a clean driving record. You will maintain vehicle logs, coordinate with nursing staff, and support residents with mobility needs as required.

Qualifications

• CDL required with good driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical exam and criminal background check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from destinations.
• Maintain vehicles in good working condition.
• Record mileage, routes and passenger information.
• Foster a positive relationship with residents, families and staff.
• Collaborate with nursing staff for timely transportation.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Assist residents with mobility or other special needs.
