Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Lincolnshire, IL seeks a Registered Nurse On-Call for our 24/7 care model.

You’ll provide after-hours nursing visits, triage, symptom management, and care plan updates during evenings, nights, and weekends, with a 7 days on/7 days off overnight schedule that supports autonomy and work–life balance. Requirements: active Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and 1+ year acute care experience (hospice/home care preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates, Bachelors, or Masters).
• Current IL RN license and CPR certification.
• 1+ years of acute care experience; hospice/home care preferred.
• Respond to triage calls and provide after-hours nursing visits for symptom management, admissions, and care plan updates.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, with patient and caregiver education.
