East Bay Post Acute is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our full-time nursing team for an On-Call, on-site role in California. You will provide direct nursing care, oversee clinical operations, support interdisciplinary care planning, and help ensure the highest standards of resident health and safety.

This On-Call RN position offers a competitive pay rate of $48.00-$50.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth and meaningful impact on residents and families in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• California RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Perform assessments and monitor resident conditions, identifying and responding to changes in health status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures safely and accurately.
• Supervise and support LVNs and CNAs in the delivery of resident care.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in admissions, transfers, discharges, and care plan meetings.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards, state and federal regulations, and facility policies.
• Educate residents and families regarding treatment plans and care needs.
