Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative team as an On-Call RN. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through compassionate care.

You will promote safety and quality using the nursing process, adhere to the State Nurse Practice Act, and maintain accurate patient charts while covering nights on a 38-hour weekly on-call schedule across PACU and surgical services.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; endorsement accepted.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs.
• RN license required; current license in state/NLC compact participating state.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Evaluate patient response and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection.
• Maintain thorough, confidential patient charts and records.
• Document status, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
