Job summary

Hearth Hospice is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional hospice care to patients and families in Dayton. The role involves coordinating care, assessing needs, and providing compassionate support during critical moments.

The schedule is 7 on/7 off, with shifts Fri 4:30 pm–8 am and Mon and Mon-Thu 4:30 pm–8 am, covering a Dayton territory. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, PTO, holidays, tuition assistance, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice experience a plus.
• Proficient computer skills; EMR background.
• CPR certification if state requires it.

Hearth Hospice is currently seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support.

Schedule: 7 on/7 off, Friday 4:30 pm - 8 am Monday and Monday - Thursday 4:30 pm - 8 am

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

$73,000 - $83,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
