Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to complete internal customer service training within one month of hire.
• Basic math, reading, computer, and cashiering skills.
• Good communication and ability to work with others.
• Ability to work as scheduled including Saturdays and holidays.
• This position operates in a retail environment.
• Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ascertain their needs.
• Provide high-quality customer service and product knowledge.
• Develop understanding of contents/properties of products.
• Respond to questions about curriculum and clothing fit.
• Provide personal fitting consultations when needed.
• Prepare merchandise for purchase.
• Operate POS terminal and process sales/returns.
• Assist supervisor with merchandising and inventory on shelves.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep the store clean and safe.
• Work scheduled shifts including Saturdays and holidays.
• Assist in other operational tasks as needed.
