Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities in New Ulm, MN is hiring an On-Call Resident Assistant to support residents in assisted living and memory care. Earn $19.19–$22.25/hour plus shift differentials up to $3/hour.

This on-call role involves helping with personal care, mobility, and safe transfers, and administering medications per policy. Opportunities to move to full-time as shifts become available; benefits include PTO, 401(k), referral program, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow directions accurately.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• About one year of Resident Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support residents with mobility and safe transfers
• Give medications as directed, following facility policy and state regulations
• Build positive, caring relationships with residents during every shift
• Help create a comfortable, dignified daily experience for each resident
