Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Research Technician in Daytona Beach, FL to support clinical trial activities in a fast-paced laboratory and clinical environment. You will interact with healthy volunteer participants, perform readings, collect samples, and assist with screening procedures while ensuring protocol compliance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, Phlebotomy experience, and CNA/EMT/CMA certification is preferred. On-call shifts include days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience is required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred or required as stated.

Responsibilities

• Interact with healthy volunteer participants and learn to read clinical protocols.
• Perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings.
• Prepare and record ECGs/Holters and process biological samples per protocol.
• Monitor meals to ensure dietary compliance by participants.
• Assist in room and equipment preparation and screening procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe study environment; support study operations.
