Job summary

Lakeshore Management in Las Vegas is seeking a Rental Maintenance Tech to perform routine maintenance and repairs on rental properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance fixes, with on-call availability to address urgent issues.

The role requires responding to tenant requests, inspections, vendor coordination, and detailed record-keeping to ensure property upkeep and resident satisfaction. A high school diploma and 2 years in building trades are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years general experience in building trades is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenant maintenance requests by diagnosing issues, scheduling repairs, and completing tasks like fixing leaky faucets and minor electrical problems.
• Perform routine inspections of rental units and building systems to identify issues and complete preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform a variety of repair tasks including drywall patching, painting, door/window replacements, and basic plumbing/electrical work.
• Install and repair appliances within units and coordinate with vendors for replacements when necessary.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls outside regular hours for issues such as leaks or heating/cooling problems.
• Monitor and maintain building systems like HVAC units, water heaters, alarms, and security systems.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for complex repairs and oversee work completion.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, work orders, parts inventory, and inspection reports.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
• Other responsibilities deemed necessary by supervisor.
