St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA, is hiring a Full-Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide home visits and on-call coverage in a hospice setting.

The role requires an active Louisiana RN license, CPR certification, EMR experience, and a 50–70 mile driving radius. Previous home health or hospice experience is preferred, with strong time-management and compassionate patient care essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in home health or hospice environments
• Knowledge of EMR systems
• Ability to travel within 50–70 miles radius
• 7 days on, 7 days off call rotation 4:30 pm–8 am
• Strong time-management and compassionate patient care

Responsabilités

• Make patient visits at patients' residences
• Provide on-call nursing coverage on a 7-on/7-off rotation
• Utilize EMR for charting and patient records
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in home hospice settings
• Coordinate with care teams to manage patient plans of care

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Make patient visits at their place of residence
• 7 days on 7 days off call rotation 4:30 pm-8 am.
• Knowledge of EMR is required
• Previous Home Health or Hospice experience needed
