Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse On-Call to join our 24/7 care team. You will respond to triage calls, perform after-hours nursing visits, and support admissions with symptom management and care plan updates.

We offer a 7 days on / 7 days off overnight schedule, providing autonomy, balance, and meaningful patient connections in end-of-life care. Must have RN license, CPR certification, and acute care background, with hospice/home care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, BSN, or MSN).
• 1+ years of acute care experience; hospice/home care preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to triage calls and provide after-hours nursing visits for symptom management, admissions, and care plan updates.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; document outcomes and education for patients and caregivers.
