Sound Behavioral Health is hiring an On-Call Registered Nurse for our Parks Place residential program in Auburn, WA. The RN will assess health needs, administer medications, and coordinate medical resources for clients in a compassionate, inclusive environment.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with clinicians, ensuring high-quality care while supporting Recovery-oriented goals in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nurse practice laws.
• Ability to make independent medical decisions.
• Ability to initiate emergency medical treatment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (oral and written).
• Demonstrated knowledge of psychotropic medications.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and communicate clients' behavior.
• Perform and document physical assessments per nursing protocols.
• Develop consumer assessment and treatment plans for medical needs.
• Monitor and administer prescribed medications.
• Identify medication side effects and take corrective actions.
• Provide training on psychotropic medications to clients and team.
