Indian Health Council, Inc. (IHC) in Valley Center, CA seeks a Temporary Registered Dental Assistant to assist the dentist across restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, pedodontic, oral surgery and orthodontic procedures under California Dental Board licensure.

The role requires a high school diploma and RDA program completion, with 1+ year RDA experience preferred, and current RDA license with sealant and coronal polishing credentials; BLS may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED and graduate of Dental (RDA) Assisting program.
• At least 1-year experience as RDA beyond program completion.
• Prefer 3+ years of RDA experience.

Responsabilités

• Assists dentist during examination and treatment under supervision.
• Prepares patients and facilitates dental care.
• Prepares and sets up dental operatory for procedures with instruments and materials.
• Takes and records medical and dental histories and vital signs.
• Exposes diagnostic dental x-rays.
• Maintains back-office and sterilizes dental instruments.
