Job summary

LifeSkills Connection Inc. is seeking a Production Assistant to support the preparation, production, and finishing of printed materials using computer software and production equipment.

This on-call role works with teammates to fulfill customer orders and assist in business operations across multiple platforms, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and high-quality results. Hours vary weekly based on production schedule and demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in printing, production, or related field preferred.
• No formal design training/degree required – on-the-job training provided.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with design or production software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate design software and printing equipment to complete customer orders and internal projects.
• Ensure all output meets quality standards for design, layout, and finishing.
• Record customer feedback and escalated concerns to the Operations Director when needed.
• Answer incoming calls, assist walk-in customers, and relay messages or requests to the appropriate staff.
• Keep work areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Employ strong project management skills.
• Support packaging and shipping needs of customers.
• Follow all policies and procedures set forth by Options Ink and LifeSkills Connection to ensure compliance, safety, and operational consistency.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
