• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to evaluate patients’ current physical and mental health.
• Coordinate care between patients, primary care providers, surgeons, and ancillary departments.
• Utilize tools like the Surgical Risk Calculator for surgical risk assessment.
• Provide guidance to patients on preoperative medications and surgical protocols.
• Directly provide patient care while delegating tasks as needed.
• Collaborate proactively with the care team to improve patient outcomes.
