Job summary

Providence Covenant Medical Center in Texas is seeking an on-call, day shift Physical Therapist to assess, plan and implement therapy, educate patients and families, and demonstrate techniques under supervision as needed.

The candidate must graduate from an accredited physical therapy program and hold Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License and BLS (American Heart Association). Preferred Neonatal Therapist and 2 years rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Upon hire: Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Preferred qualifications include Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only) and 2 years experience in rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan treatment, and implement therapy.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrate therapies and communicate progress.
• Work independently with supervisory guidance as needed.
