Providence is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist at Covenant Medical Center in Texas. You will administer treatment programs, monitor progress, and report deviations to the supervising therapist.

The successful candidate will have graduation from an accredited physical therapy program and must obtain Texas PTA licensure upon hire, plus current BLS from American Heart Association.

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Upon hire: Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Description

The Physical Therapy Assistant assists in the provision of physical therapy service provided the service is rendered under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administering treatment programs designed by and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, monitoring patients' progress and response to treatment, reporting deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Upon hire: Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Degree from accredited program.

• 2 years experience in rehabilitation.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
